Carter debuted for the Panthers track and field team with a pair of first place finishes during the team's trip to Alabama for The Island Meet. Carter took first place in the 100-meter dash with a time of 10.97 seconds and added another top finish in the 200-meter race with a time of 21.75 seconds. Both times are the fastest among SLIAC runners this spring so far and his 200-meter time puts him fourth nationally.
