About Principia College Athletic Club

Principia College Athletic Club was founded with the surrounding community in mind. Principia College is blessed with outstanding Athletic Facilities and the Athletic Club provides opportunities for everyone to exercise and train in an excellent and safe environment.

Principia College has a long history of success in Athletics. Principia student-athletes have gone on to become professional athletes, Olympians, and impactful coaches and leaders, among other things. The generosity of alumni and the strong foundation set by former Principia coaches and administrators have allowed the Principia College facilities to develop into amazing spaces. We are blessed to have these spaces and it gives us joy to be a resource to the community.

Gym memberships are available throughout the year for members of the community who want to develop their abilities, stay physically active, and have fun.

Facility rentals are available for swimming clubs, track clubs, baseball clubs, soccer clubs, high school teams, college teams, and other groups.

We're a bit off the beaten path, located atop the bluffs in Elsah, Illinois; 5 minutes from Grafton, 15 minutes from Alton, and 45 minutes from St. Louis. But when you get here, you'll see it's worth the trip!
