"Principia College's Kiersten Andersen, a sophomore from Sterling Heights, Mich. (Aldai E. Stevenson), has been named the Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week for the week of September 6-12.  Andersen, an outside hitter, led Principia in their first win of the season with 25 kills, 12 digs, two service aces and one block as they defeated Wilmington College (Ohio) 3-2. She recorded double digits in kills in all four matches played last week to finish with 60 kills total on the week and an average of 3.75 kills per set. Andersen also recorded double digits in digs in three of four matches, for 38 total digs.
