ELSAH, ILL. -- This summer, Principia College will open its athletic facilities to host a Nike overnight camp for volleyball and an overnight basketball team camp for both boys and girls. Athletic Director,
Lee Ellis, comments, “We are excited to open our doors to the community of middle school and high school athletes who are interested in improving their game. Religion is not a factor. If athletes are interested in training with great coaches in quality facilities, they should come.”

Principia College Nike Volleyball Camp (girls ages 10-18)
Join Coach Sprague at Principia College this summer for outstanding volleyball training.
Principia College offers three sessions for campers to choose from or attend the back-to-back sessions for more training.
Session I- June 10-13, 2012: All Skills:
This program is open to players of all ability levels. Here you'll master the fundamentals, develop proper mechanics and gain game play experience. Every aspect of the game is covered, giving you a solid skill foundation to build upon after camp.
Boarding cost: $340/ Day cost (9am-9pm) $240
Session II- June 10-13, 2012: High Intensity Training Camp
This camp is recommended for high school varsity (entering sophomore, junior or senior year) and club players with a commitment to the sport and the ability and motivation to play in college. This intense, challenging program will stress position play, advanced team techniques and match play.
Boarding cost: $370 Day cost (9am-9pm) $270
Session III- June 13-15, 2012: Position Specialty
This program is designed for players who want to specialize in the Setter, Hitter, or Libero (Defensive Specialist) positions.
Boarding cost: $260 Day Cost (9am-9pm) $160

Principia Basketball Team Camp (Open to boys' and girls' teams from grades 9-12)
The Principia Basketball Team Camp is a terrific place to learn more about the game of basketball, build team chemistry, and have fun playing new teams from the St. Louis bi-state region.
Please note: Campers must already be on a team that is attending camp in order to apply. We will not place any campers on a team.
Emphasis is on TEAM development and instruction by your high school staff.
The Principia College campus is known worldwide for its beauty, sitting atop the bluffs overlooking the Mississippi Valley. All games will be played on campus in Hay Field House and the Crafton Center. Teams will stay in air conditioned dorms and eat in the campus dining hall.
Cost for Team Basketball Camp:
$220 Overnight with meals
$180 Commuter with meals
$120 Commuter without meals
