Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 ELSAH, ILL. --

Game 1:         Webster - 12                Principia – 0  in 5 innings

The team came out a little flat against Webster and never really got rolling.  Webster got on the board early and just kept adding runs.  Principia's offense never really left the dugout as they just couldn't get seem to find the 'on' switch in this game.
Webster is a solid team and once they got their lead they never let up and played a complete game.  This one only lasted 5 innings as the mercy rule took effect at the end of the 5th inning.

Only four players got a hit in this one with Tori Cheatham going 2 for 2.  Yulia Marquardt, Tanya Marquardt and Thanda Kyaw all got one hit.

Game 2:         Webster – 20       Principia – 9  in 5 innings

Principia showed some life in this one and it was a much more interesting game.  Webster got off to another quick start scoring 4 runs in the 1st inning after some Principia miscues.  The on again, off again Principia offense exploded with 8 runs of their own in the bottom of the 1st inning which was a lot of fun to watch.  The game was close until the 5th inning when Webster erupted again and put the game away.

Seven players got 1 or more hits in this game.  Yulia Marquardt and Ashley Shoemake had a great game at the plate with 3 hits  each.  Tori Cheatham hand another 2 hit game and Jessy MacMullin added 2 of her own.  Thanda Kyaw, Tanya Marquardt and Sam Bronkar all contributed 1 hit to a strong offensive effort.
