ELSAH, IL – In a warm up to the Panther Invitational the next day, the men's swimming team took on Hendrix College in sprint dual meet. The men lost 65 – 120 but swam different events and enjoyed the quick pace of the meet. A few bests were swum but it was the fun atmosphere that ruled the day.

Andrew Boyd had an outstanding meet. He dropped almost 2 seconds in his 100 Free (56.57) and had an outstanding season best relay split in the 200 Free relay. Older brother senior
Nick Boyd swam a lifetime best 2:19.03 in his 200 Free.

Hunter Mehring were both double winners on the day. Barner captured the 100 IM (1:00.40) and the 100 Free (52.67). Mehring won the 50 Free (22.06) and the 50 Back (25.70).
The team will be back in action tomorrow, Saturday, January 23 as they host 8 other teams in the Panther Invitational starting at 1 pm.
