Monday 10/9 - Elsah, ILL. -- Principia eSports celebrates the first win of their Overwatch season against University of Jamestown after dropping the first game of their best-of-three match, and coming back to win the series 2-1.
Inside the Match:
Things looked bleak for Principia's Overwatch team after falling short against Jamestown in their first game of the series. The team looked uncoordinated and discouraged after a convincing loss in game one against a team well within their reach. However, Principia was able to stay calm and refocus on what needed to be done. Their steadiness won them the proceeding two games just as convincingly as they had been beaten in the first game.
They said it:
After a massive sigh of relief, offensive player
Hawthorn Brumm said, "Once we were able to get our heads in the game the issues we faced in the first match didn't matter. It feels really good to win with a comeback."
