Sunday 9/30 - Elsah, ILL. -- Principia Overwatch struggled to find its rhythm in its first match versus another SLIAC team against Greenville.
Inside the Match:
After coming out with a strong and confident start and taking the first game, Principia couldn't find its footing against a fast paced Greenville offense. After quickly dropping the second game, in which victory had felt like it was in reach, the team was left frustrated and unnerved. Prin struggled to regain its mental fortitude, and didn't have time to regain calm and get organized before dropping the third game in a 1-2 loss.
They said it:
"The team can and will play better than this, it was a tough match to lose and one that we all really wanted to win. But it gave us a lot of great material to help identify and improve our weaknesses. We're focused on improving ourselves and taking responsibility for being good and supportive teammates."
