Sunday 11/12 - Elsah, IL. -- Principia struggled against a high ranking Boise State team, falling 0-2. The team then bounced back and took down Delaware State with vigor in a quick 2-0 in favor of Principia.
Inside the Match:
Principia couldn't get anything to go against Boise State, no matter how they switched their strategies and lineups. The individual talent on the Boise team was tough to overcome, and the team quickly ran over Principia before they could find a strategy that stuck. Prin dropped the best of three in a quick 0-2 match.
Though the previous match had been rough, Principia quickly let it go and focused on the task ahead, the team from Delaware State. The first match was a back and forth, with both teams finding offensive success. However, Principia was able to hold for just a bit longer than Delaware on the defensive end, and ultimately it was enough to squeak out a win in the first game. After losing in such a close match, it was clear that Delaware was affected mentally. Quickly they found themselves stuck against a locked-in Principia defense and they couldn't adapt quickly enough. Dropping the second game, and the match, 0-2 in favor of Principia.

"The first game was definitely a bummer, but it's awesome that time and time again we demonstrate that we can be unaffected by a loss in our first game of the day, and win the second. The team has come a long way and the successes we do get feel great."
