Fulton, MO -- The Principia College Men's Tennis Team traveled to Fulton, Missouri today to play their SLIAC Conference opener against the Westminster College Blue Jays. For Principia, this was their first time being outside since Spring Break in California, but they were up to the challenge. Principia came out strong in doubles, taking command of both 2nd and 3rd doubles from the beginning. At 1st doubles,
Wyatt Dale and
Greg Sovie started slow against their opponents, but soon found their rhythm on the way to an 8-4 victory. In singles play, everyone was able to execute and play well. Principia earned wins at every position in the lineup on their way to the 9-0 victory.

News and Notes:
The Panthers are now 8-6 overall and 1-0 in SLIAC play. Principia next plays SLIAC rival Greenville University in a rematch of last year's SLIAC Championship, which Principia was able to win. These two will be looking to compete for the title again this year, and this regular season contest will help set seeding fro the SLIAC Tournament.
