Senior Year (2013-2014)

Meghan is a senior member of the Principia Women's Swim Team. This will be her third year swimming for Principia College. Meghan is a sprinter and competes in the 100 yard breaststroke and the 100 yard freestyle. She earned a spot on the top 10 record list for the 400 freestyle relay in both 2011 and 2012. Meghan is dedicated to the team and enjoys working hard in practice. She is an elementary education major. Meghan is living in St. Louis during the fall of 2013 working on her education degree, but the team looks forward to having her back in the water in January!

Freshmen Year (2010-2011)
Meghan joins us from Southlake Texas as a second year competitive swimmer. Meghan is eager to improve her 50 yard freestyle, 100 yard freestyle, and 100 yard breaststroke times. She would like to also improve her overall swimming technique. Her encouraging and persistent attitude will make for an excellent addition to the team! We look forward to seeing great improvements from her as the season progresses.

1.) When did you start playing this sport and why?
I began in high school. I have always loved the water and I fell in love with the sport.

2.) What do you love most about playing this sport?
The competitive atmosphere, individual goals, and triumphs, with constant team support.
