2012 Season (Senior Year)
As one of the team’s two Captains, we are looking to Marina for a season of solid leadership.  She had a good offensive season in 2011 and we will be looking to her to provide even more this year as she will once again bat in a key position in our lineup.  She will be the team primary catcher and will be behind the plate for most of the games this season.

2011 Season (Junior Year)
This season we look to be a much stronger team. We have new freshmen that will help us where we struggled last year and everyone has gotten a lot stronger this year. I think offensively we will be a much different team than last year and we hope to turn some heads in our conference this year. We couldn’t be more excited to get going!


2010 Season  (Sophomore Year)
Last season I was the catcher for Principia’s first softball season in many years. As a building year, I feel that we laid a strong foundation for the program. Although we didn’t win many games, we overcame many challenges and created a firm platform to keep building this program; and that was our overall goal.

WHY I LOVE PLAYING THIS GAME!
I love playing this game because I love the rush you get as you step into the batter box. I love the dirt filling your sliding shorts as you slide into home. I love throwing runners out who think they can make the steal. And I love not having to be cute for a while! Once you hit the dirt, it's time to get down to business, get dirty, and be tough. It’s the best part of my day.
