Senior Year (2014-2015)
Jason has earned his title of Senior Captain through his unrelenting commitment to tennis over his 4 seasons. In his first three years, Jason has been SLIAC Newcomer of the Year, as well as SLIAC Player of the Year twice. Jason's improvement in his game has been made through dedication and hard work. We are excited to see Jason's final season of tennis unfold. 

Junior Year (2013-2014)
As a Sophomore, Jason started making significant progress towards his goal to become a regionally ranked player. Jason won Player of the Year in the SLIAC, and was able to improve by leaps and bounds. Jason is a captain this season, and has stepped up his leadership role on the team. Look for Jason to keep improving while making up more ground on his national competitors.

Sophomore Year (2012-2013)
Last year as a Freshman Jason played number 2 singles and number 1 doubles. He was 1^st team All-Conference in doubles and Newcomer of the Year in singles for SLIAC. He is a strong competitor on the court but his love for the team and his competitive spirit is what most helps the team.

Freshman Year (2011)
Jason is a Freshman from Westlake, Ohio who comes to Principia College ready to make his mark on the Men’s Tennis program. He has powerful groundstrokes and is able to control points from the baseline, but also is comfortable coming to net. Jason played 2nd Singles at his Westlake High School, where he was Captain for his Junior and Senior seasons. His eagerness to become a more consistent player will help the team try to accomplish its goal of winning conference.

When did you start playing tennis and why?
I have played casually my whole life, but I started training around age 10. I wanted to try competing.

Why I love playing tennis!
Tennis continually pushes my limits physically and mentally, and I ultimately grow stronger because of it. There is always room to improve and the opportunities are boundless.
