Senior Year (2012 – 2013)
This will be Karsten’s second year on the team. Although Karsten is not as experienced as some of his teammate, he has already made a strong impact in both individual and relay events. Karsten competes in the breast stroke events as well as in the relays. Last season, in his first year of competitive swimming, Karsten was a member of two top ten relays. In practice, Karsten is an example of endurance and strength as he is often the first one in the water and the last one out of it. Although his tenure has been short, his impact on the team has been great; we look forward to seeing what this driven young man will accomplish this season.


1.) When did you start playing this sport and why?
    I started swimming this year because I wanted a new way to challenge myself, and I wanted to get better at swimming.

2.) What do you love most about playing this sport?
    It's an unusual sport/skill to be good at swimming
