Biography

Senior Year (2012)
Last year, Caroline had a very strong season getting in shape and winning matches at the #6 singles and #3 doubles.  She worked hard keeping a strong mental game during matches and also in practice.  She was away this Fall on an abroad in Greece and Turkey, but has jumped full-forced back into the swing of things (no pun intended!).  This year, she wants to work hard to improve all aspects of her game and get in great shape, so she can outlast her opponents.  Caroline will play # 6 singles and #2 or #3 doubles. She and the entire team are working to improve their mental game and be consistent in their metaphysical work, keeping thought away from barriers/limitations and focusing on competing well (winning) and playing the game wisely by making the correct shot selection.  Caroline will be a strong competitor helping the team win the SLIAC championships and return to the NCAA Regional tournament.  Caroline has grown immensely since her freshmen year.  She is a  totally different player demonstrating much more confidence in herself and her game.  She is a much older, wiser, and better player!  As her final season at Principia, she hopes to make this her best season ever!

Junior Year (2011)
Caroline returns this year to help the Principia Women’s tennis team win the SLIAC conference championship and earn a trip to the NCAA Regional tournament.  She will be one of three players working to obtain the  #6 singles position.   Caroline will play #3 doubles this season. Caroline will work this season to improve her mobility and her shot selection during a game.  She has strong ground strokes and will work to improve her volley and serve, as well as her consistency.  Whether she is in the starting lineup or just at practice, Caroline brings her strong work ethic to the tennis courts.

Sophomore Year (2010)
Sweet Caroline joins the women's team for her sophomore season this year. Her technique and mental game have improved greatly since last season, and we look forward to seeing her excel in competitive situations.  Caroline does an impeccable job of making practice fun with her great attitude and her accurate impressions. Her great work ethic mixed with her light heartedness provides her with a suberb balance both on and off the court.

Freshman Year (2009)
Caroline will join the starting line-up in singles and/or doubles. As Caroline continues to work on and demonstrate better footwork and consistency her natural power will become more effective. Caroline is a great addition to the team.
