Sophmore Year (2013)
Fiona will play an important role this year as she moves into the line-up on a more regular basis. Fiona continues to work hard to improve her game especially her serve and her volleys.  She is more comfortable at the net now and is fierce with her volleys.  She will have an extremely tough schedule this year as she is an education major and will be doing student teaching in the local elementary school.  She also has a job on campus working in the pub.  Fiona is a loving and uniting presence, and brings the sense of family to the team.

Freshman Year (2012)
Fiona loves tennis because it pushes her beyond her limitations.  She is willing to work hard to improve her tennis game, especially her serve. Fiona brings her positive and joyous attitude to the Principia College team. She is looking forward to the collaborative team experience where she will contribute to helping the team improve. Fiona played a couple of years on the Principia Upper School tennis team.  Fiona cherishes the opportunity of being a sister, a friend, and the biggest fan to the seven other women on the tennis team.



1.)  When did you start playing tennis and why?
       I first played in 3rd grade for fun.  Then I played on and off in middle school, then the 3 years in high school.  I first started to play tennis because my friend though I would be good.  I play now because I love to play tennis.

2.)  What do you love most about playing tennis?
      I love tennis because it is the only sport I can push myself to do my best, and play the hardest.
