2013 Season (Senior Year)
Devon enters into her senior season as a Captain and anchor for the team.  She led the team in strikeouts and assists on defense and was a significant contributor to the Panther offense as well.  Devon this year is hoping to step her game even more in her final season and lead the Panthers with her unerring competitive spirit.

2012 Season (Junior Year)
Devon is one of the team’s two Captains and will definitely be one of the leaders for this year’s squad.  In 2011 Dev was our most consistent pitcher and she will play a vital role on the mound again this year.  We will also be looking to her to provide some punch in the middle of our lineup after showing well at the plate last season

2011 Season (Sophomore Year)
I look forward to playing for Principia this year and contributing on the field as well as pitching. We have been working hard this off-season and are bonding well as a team. I look forward to our team being a strong competitor in our conference this year.

2010 Season (Freshman Year)
Last year I was a pitcher for the Nebraska Wesleyan University prairie wolves as we finished 2nd in the GPAC conference and was named NFCA All-Academic Team. We also finished by setting a new school record with the most wins in a season.


WHY I LOVE PLAYING THIS GAME!
I have always loved the game of baseball because I have grown up watching the St. Louis Cardinals with my family. Although, I would have to say my favorite part of the game is the battle between the pitcher and the batter.

1.)  When did you start playing softball and why?
    Started playing when I was Like 9 or 10 because my brother plays baseball.

2.)  What do you love most about playing softball?
        I love the mental game the pitcher plays with the batter.
