Senior Year (2013)
Returning from a semester abroad, Derrick looks forward to his final cross-country season. He cherishes the growth and challenges that occur everyday at practices and meets. Moreover, Derrick is excited to be with the team once more to make new memories, and have many van dance parties.  Outside running, Derrick will be both finishing his history major and acting as the Student Body Vice President. This will be a fun year! 

Junior Year (2012)
Entering his 3rd year of running cross country at Principia, Derrick is excited for another season of adventure. He anticipates plenty of hard work, growth, and van dance parties. But, he's most excited to overcome his limitations. A Disney enthusiast, Derrick is a history major and will be a resident assistant for this fall semester. 

Sophomore Year (2011)
Derrick Fleming— Derrick enters his sophomore season of Cross Country at Principia with a lot of enthusiasm. Having run for four years in high school and one in college, there continues to be new and exciting adventures and much progress for Derrick. He is “excited for the new prospects that the season will bring and I continue to learn and grow from my teammates.” Derrick is a History major and his whole family attended Principia College.
