2017 Men's Cross Country Roster
Biography
Super Senior Year (2017)
Nate is an energetic senior who is eager to make this cross country season stellar. Along with running on the Principia College Cross Country team, Nate participates in Indoor/Outdoor Track, Swing Dance, and the Varsity E-Sports Team. Nate does not take an off season, but during the summer he works as a wilderness guide in Maine at Camp Owatonna. He is excited to be majoring in Global Studies. Educational Studies, and to minor in Asian Studies. With summer training behind him, Nate is eager to qualify for and compete in the national competition hosted by Principia this year.
Senior Year (2016)
Nathan Richards, Known around campus as Nate, is a Senior who is looking forward to his third year running for the Principia College Cross Country team. Nate ran cross country in high school and is excited to support the team over the next two years. When not at Principia, Nate resides in Maine at Camp Owatonna as a wilderness guide or tripper. He is a Education and Global Studies double major and is passionate about the swing dancing, squirrel watching, and bacon apple pies. Nate is eagerly awaiting traveling to away meets and spending time with the wonderful individuals who comprise the team.
Sophomore Year (2014)
Nate Richards is a sophomore majoring in computer science and this is his 10th year of competitive running. He lives in Elsah, but was originally from Massachusetts. His hobbies are running, competitive strategic video games, and randomly busting into dance. If he was a fruit he would be a kiwi because he's very hairy on the outside and zesty on the inside. He looks forward to seeing both mental and physical growth this season.
Freshman Year (2013)
Nate Richards LOVES to run. He has been running since the 3rd grade and went to high school in Tahanto in MA. He loves anything athletic ranging from running to soccer to Ping-Pong to E-Sports. He will strive for excellence these next four years on Prin’s Cross-Country team!
