Senior Year (2013-2014)

Because this is Joanna's fourth year on the team, she has high goals for making it the best year possible. Due to a change of interests, Joanna has become a distance swimmer. She has grown to love swimming the 200 and the 500 freestyle and is striving to be able to swim longer distances later in the season. In the water, Joanna works hard to pay attention to the little details and tries to push herself harder during sets more than she did the day before. Out of the water, you can always hear Joanna cheering her teammates on during practices and meets. As a team Captain this year, she is constantly looking for different ways to bring the team together to not only work hard as a group, but to have fun at the same time. Being that this is Joanna's last year swimming competitively, she is so excited to have the most memorable season swimming for Principia thus far.

Junior Year (2012 – 2013)
Joanna is returning for her third year on the team. Her first two years were defined by a highly competitive drive in the water and a voice of inspiration in practice and team activities. Joanna looks to tackle the sprint freestyle events this year as well as participating in the women’s relays. Joanna’s voice is as notorious at swim meets as her competitive spirit, as she is the first one behind a lane to cheer on her fellow teammates. Joanna wonderfully reflects an excellent work ethic and love of team; we look forward to seeing many more accomplishments for her this season. We look forward to watching Joanna make great strides in her final season with us!

Freshman Year (2010-2011)
Joanna comes to us from Menomonee Falls High School with a readiness to take on the challenges of collegiate swimming. With nine years of experience under her belt, she is ready to take on the next step and reach new goals in her swimming. To the team, Joanna will bring a sense of leadership with not only her experience but with her positive attitude and love for the water. She has set high goals, and with her strong work ethic and perseverance there is no doubt in our minds that she will achieve them. We are excited to watch Joanna swim!
