Biography
Senior Year (2017)
We are so incredibly grateful to have Anh on our team. The Principia College women’s tennis team refers to Anh as “BEAST,” because she never gives up, and her groundstrokes are far beyond what you would ever expect just by looking at her. With strong, powerful groundstrokes and her fearlessness to come up to net and mix things up, Anh played many successful singles and doubles matches last year. She has a very well rounded game, and it is evident that Anh has worked very hard and practiced often to become the competitor that she is. We are thrilled for one last season with Anh!
Junior Year (2016)
Anh has improved her tennis game this past year and is moving into the top six and into the doubles line-up. Every aspect of her game has grown this year including her technical skill and her tactical knowledge. She loves the game of tennis because it challenges her both physically and spiritually. She is the most joyous member of the team and her laugh is infectious. She loves being part of this team because of how hard they work. It helps that they are also super fun and energetic to top it off!
Fun Facts:
1) When did you start playing tennis and why?
I started playing tennis when I was a sophomore in Principia Upper School. It was a requirement to graduate.
2) What do you love most about playing tennis?
I love how the game works. You constantly need to plan for next few moves that you are going to make. It keeps you working both mentally and physically.
