Biography
Senior Year (2016)
Justine is to returning to tennis this year after spending last spring studying in India. She will play the #2 singles position and use her great speed and fast hands to disrupt her opponent's attack. She is looking forward to improving her second serve and her own offensive game. Justine is a great team player and brings her work ethic from soccer to the tennis courts. She leads by example and is always ready to work hard to improve her skills.
Sophomore Year (2014)
Justine returns with a keen drive to improve her game and build upon the experience she gained last year while playing #6 singles on the championship team. She was a SLIAC First Team All Conference player in both singles and doubles in her freshman year. She looks to improve her tennis match IQ and her second serve. Justine is a steady player willing to stay on the court as long as it takes to put one more ball back into the court. She will play both singles and doubles again this year. Justine also brings high intensity and cheerfulness to the team.
Freshman Year (2013)
Justine played varsity singles on the Principia Upper School team last year. She was instrumental in helping the team win the conference. Justine is quick around the court and few balls get by her. She is a kind and cheerful teammate and will work hard to push herself and the other players. This season Justine wants to improve her net game and her serves. She is learning the strategy of tennis and to be bold with her play. Justine is a great addition to the team; she is open and willing to pitch in wherever she is needed.

When did you start playing tennis and why?
I started playing in highschool because it looked fun and I thought it would be fun to try a new sport.
What do you love most about playing tennis?
That you have to be very precise and it’s a complete mental game.
