Biography

Sophomore Year (2015-2016)
A sophomore transfer from Chapman University, Doug joins our team with a lifelong background in tennis.  "Dougie Fresh" has both an aggressive forehand and backhand, and is always looking to take early possession of the point.  Doug's friendly demeanor and constant good attitude has already made him an integral part of this year's team.

Nickname: Derg, Dougie Fresh, Dougie, Doogie, Doog, etc.

When did you start playing tennis and why?
I started playing tennis when I was really young, maybe four or five.  I started playing because my parents got me into it and I ended up loving the game!

What do you love most about playing tennis?
I love the life lessons I learn through the game.  I also love the team environment!
