Biography
Senior Year (2017)
Nathalie has been a vital part of our team for the previous three years, and the Principia College women’s tennis appreciates her hard work, as well as her high spirits. Nathalie has always been a big fan of her own consistent backhand, and last year she improved her forehand immensely. Regardless of her contagious joy and laughter, Nathalie is a serious force to reckon with on the tennis court. We cannot wait to see Nathalie step up this year and play singles and doubles.
Junior Year (2016)
Nathalie is a truly dedicated played. Last year, her patience was tested over and over in points that lasted up to seven minutes. She has great mental toughness and perseverance. Nathalie is working this year to make her forehand a more offensive weapon. Nathalie has great hands and is very strong at the net. She is a natural student and is always open to learning new skills and strategies. She loves the camaraderie of the team and is constantly joyful and ready with a hearty laugh.
Sophomore Year (2015)
Nathalie was the most improved player last year. She is also the friendliest and most pleasant woman on the planet, while also being a fierce competitor. Nathalie looks to continue improving all areas of her game this year and to earning a regular spot in the line-up. She brings her positive attitude to practice and matches and is an inspiration to all.
Freshman Year (2014)
Nathalie enters her freshman year on the tennis team eager to improve all areas of her game. Last year Nathalie played #1 doubles on the Principia Upper School tennis team. She loves playing tennis and is excited about the opportunity to learn more about the game and to be a member of a varsity college team. She plays with joy and brings a positive attitude to the court. She is looking forward to our spring break trip to California. She is a friend to everyone and consistently lives the Golden rule on and off the court.

1.) When did you start playing this sport and why?
I learned how to play tennis in middle school, and I started playing competitively my Junior year of high school. I started playing because my whole family plays, and I wanted to be able to play with them.
2.) What do you love most about playing this sport?
I love having fun while playing tennis. I love how much joy is expressed by the entire team and how we all keep positive attitudes.
