Biography

Senior Year (2018-2019)
Nathanael returns in his senior year to the squad for his final season as a Panther.  Nat’s role as versatile singles and doubles competitor earned him SLIAC player of the week honors for singles, and 1st team all-conference for singles and doubles. Mr. Kenworthy is no less versatile than his team mates’ having played successfully at the top spot when he was needed during his underclassman years, and at the #3, #4 and #5 singles positions brought great depth to the Panthers.  Nathanael also earned the SLIAC Sportsmanship Award twice during his career. His role this season will be pivotal wherever he plays in singles, and comfortably with his longtime partner and countryman Julian in doubles. He offers the team great piece of mind with his competitive spirit in every match.

Junior Year (2017-2018)
A countryman of Jules, from Perth Australia, Nat joins the team in his 3rd season as a Panther.  As a Panther last season, Nat earned the SLIAC 1st Team All Singles Honor at #3, and in doubles at #2 with partner Kitchingman. His classic style of tennis includes a textbook one handed backhand, which along with his power kick serve and lethal forehand, makes Nat a strong contender. Nat’s continued commitment to development has brought out his natural talent very effectively.

Sophomore Year (2016-2017)

A countryman of Jules, Nat joins the team in his second season from Perth Australia.  Nat grew up as a junior player in Australia. Last year he rose to the #3 singles spot in the lineup. His classic style of tennis includes a textbook one handed backhand, which adds to the panther’s arsenal.  His growth as a doubles player will also bring a needed balance to the team’s depth.

Freshman Year (2015-2016)
Another transfer on this season's squad, Nat brings a big forehand and a sweet one-handed backhand to the game.  He is a fierce competitor, and always brings energy to the court, and to the team.  Look for Nat to be an impact in both singles and doubles this season, and the seasons to come.
