2018-19 Season
Garrett Barner is a senior and has been on the team for four years. He is a double major in Political Science and Economics. Earlier this semester he went on the Greece and Italy abroad in order to study Art and Philosophy. He has been swimming almost his entire life with a focus on Butterfly and Freestyle events. He looks forward to progressing this year and helping to contribute to a great family atmosphere the swim team has created.

2017-18 Season
Garrett Barner is a junior and has been on the swim team for three years and is a double major in Political Science and Economics. He has been swimming almost his entire life with a focus on butterfly and freestyle events. He looks forward to leading the team as a captain this coming year and helping contribute to the great family atmosphere the swim team has created. 

2016-17 Season
Garrett Barner is a sophomore this year at Principia College and is a double major in Political Science and Economics. He has been swimming almost his entire life with a focus on butterfly and free style events. Last year he saw a lot of progress and is hoping there can be even more progress made this year. In his free time he enjoys eating, hanging out with friends, and watching movies. His favorite T.V. show is Game of Thrones, favorite book is Red Notice, favorite food is steak, and his favorite movie is the Secret Life of Walter Mitty.
