2018 Season (Senior Year)
As a second-year returner, Emily will bring tenacity to the infield with her consistent throw and fearless fielding. She is a brick wall, stopping anything that comes her way. In the box, Emily looks to drive the ball hard in the gaps. She has been working to fine-tune her swing in the batting cage and has demonstrated more power and precision at the plate. Look forward to seeing Emily rack up the home runs this season.

2017 Season (Junior Year)
Emily comes to us as a transfer for her junior year with the Panthers. She has played a lot of ball prior to Principia and has a great knowledge and love for the game. Emily has a great infield glove that stops anything coming her way. She is explosive on defense and a power house up at the plate. She looks to drive balls hard in the gaps and can effortlessly rip the cover off the ball and send it over the fence.

1.)  When did you start playing softball and why?
I started playing softball at 6 years old when a family friend gave me her softball equipment after she finished her high school career.

2.)  What do you love most about playing softball?
I love the camaraderie among my teammates, I love the challenge, and I love the mental sharpness this sport requires. You have to be prepared to make a play at any time.

3.)  What's your favorite......

Movie? It changes week by week, but “Mr. and Mrs. Smith” is always a good one!

TV Show? I’ve been binge-watching a Spanish series on Netflix called “Velvet”. It’s so fabulous and dramatically juicy! So good. 10/10 would recommend.

Food? Mostly fruits and veggies right now, I’ve been trying out vegetarianism since I’ve been back at school. I am a sucker for fresh nachos though. White queso, crispy chips, lettuce, tomatoes, shredded cheese, refried beans, black olives.. *heart eyes emoji*

Restaurant? Honestly, anything with good ambiance, good food, and good company.

Hobbies? I like to bake and make my own recipes. I also like to take road trips and explore local destinations.

Pro Athlete? Serena Williams is the GOAT. Don’t argue me on this one.

Dream Job? I’d love to be Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s daughter. If not that, then I’d like to be the mayor of Atlanta.
