Biography
2019-20 Season
Liam is going into his senior season and is feeling more ready than ever to dive into the water. He is originally from Elgin, IL but now resides in St. Louis, MO. He is excited about breaststroke and freestyle sprint races and is looking to improve his times even more. He is a Political Science major and is looking into policy analysis careers following graduation. He is a hard worker and is sure to be fast this year. Last one, fast one!
2018-19 Season
Liam Anderson is looking forward to his junior season, as captain, where he will continue to get faster in breaststroke and freestyle races. This will be a big year for him as he is looking to improve on his times from last year and get on the all-time top 10 at Principia College. He resides in the best house on campus and is very grateful to be the president of this house (Lowrey). Liam is a double major in Political Science and Sociology. Most importantly, he is an avid lover of Chick-Fil-A and is looking for a sponsorship in the near future.
2017-18 Season
Liam Anderson is a sophomore originally from Elgin, IL now residing in St. Louis, MO. He swam for his high school competitively for one year before transferring to the Principia School. He is returning for his second year on the team and is excited to develop as a swimmer. He swims primarily freestyle and breaststroke.
2016-17 Season
Liam Anderson is a freshman originally from Elgin, IL now residing in St. Louis, MO. He swam for his high school competitively for one year before transferring to the Upper School. His main events were sprints for free style, and breaststroke which he hopes to do well in this year. He is looking forward to being a part of the Principia College Swimming and Diving Team and improving his strokes and times.
1) When did you start swimming or diving and why?
I started swimming my freshman year at Elgin High School. I then went on to Principia Upper School where I stopped swimming until I came to Principia College in 2016.
2) What do you love most about swimming or diving?
I really enjoy the team atmosphere and pushing myself to be the best I can be.
