2020-2021 Season
Kassie Christensen is a freshman from Centennial, Colorado and has been swimming competitively for 8 years. Her events include the 100 Butterfly and 100 Back and can’t wait to get back into the water, get to know everyone on the team and just have a fun and good season.

When did you start swimming: 
I started swimming for local summer league teams when I was 10 years old and it was honestly because my parents made me. I fell in love with the sport and decided to keep doing it throughout the summers and eventually swam all 4 years on my high school team as well. 
 
What do you love most?
I love the feeling after a race, good or bad. The shortness of breath and release of adrenaline makes me feel so alive. If I’m ever feeling less than good, I get in the water and all of my problems wash away and it leaves me with a sense of peace.
