Sophomore (2018)
Sabrina Netherwood is a sophomore from Peewee Valley, Kentucky.   She attended The Principia School.  She is a versatile player, and will help us utilize different player combinations on the floor.  Her love for the game of basketball and excellent work ethic are two important qualities she’ll bring to the Panther Basketball Team.  This past summer, she worked hard at improving her fitness and basketball skills and we look forward to her contributions on the court this year. Sabrina played softball this past spring. Her major is Business.  Sabrina’s favorite quote is “Being cannot be lost while God exists”.

Freshman (2017)
Sabrina Netherwood is a freshman from Peewee Valley, Kentucky.   She attended The Principia School.  She is a versatile player, and will help us utilize different player combinations on the floor.  Her love for the game of basketball and excellent work ethic are two important qualities she’ll bring to the Panther Basketball Team.  Last summer, she worked at the CedarS Camp.  Sabrina will play softball in the Spring. Her major is Business.  Sabrina’s favorite quote is “Being cannot be lost while God exists”.

1.)  When did you start playing basketball and why?
I started playing basketball in 6^th grade after I saw that there would be tryouts happening at my middle school. I ended up falling in love with the game and would play it on weekend s with my dad and siblings. I tried out because I loved the idea of playing a sport and getting to be in a team atmosphere.

2.)  What do you love most about playing basketball?
I love the opportunity to play with my teammates and to feel the energy and love throughout the game. It is awesome how close we get with one another and work towards a common goal that we have.

Movie? Age of Adeline (but it changes often)

TV Show?  Friends or Brooklyn 99

Food?  Avocado toast

Restaurant?  Lulu’s in St. Louis. It has really good vegan food

Hobbies?  Knitting, biking, baking, cooking, and sleeping

Pro Athlete?  Steph Curry

Dream Job? Working for either the Canadian or US embassy
