Senior Year (2012)
Calvin Nyapete, a senior from Migori, Kenya, is looking forward to a great and wonderful season. This is his third year running Cross Country at Principia. He previously played Field Hockey in high school, but transitioned to running during his sophomore year at Principia College. His goal for the season is do better than the previous years. Calvin is a Chemistry major and double minor in Mathematics and Sociology


Junior Year (2011)
A transfer with a major in Chemistry and a possible minor in Environment Studies, Calvin is running the collegiate cross country for the first time. He is from Migori, Kenya and loves it here in Elsah. 

Before joining the men's cross country team, Calvin played field hockey in his high school for three years. He also played for the Moi University,(Eldoret, Kenya) hockey team for one year before transferring to Principia College. 

Calvin states that he loves running because it creates a good time to think through, and get to be with friends and learn more from them. His goal is to train and be as fast as possible as the season continues. "Run and love it!"
