2017 Season (Senior Year)
This is AC’s third year with the team. Previously, AC has been a solid defender in the outfield. This year, we look forward to seeing her bring her defensive skill into the infield. Offensively, AC consistently gets herself on base and is smart on the base path. We will be seeing her cross home plate more often this year. In addition to her physical skill, AC’s metaphysical contribution to the team holds the program to a high standard and consistently keeps morale high.

2016 Season (Junior Year)
AC was helpful for us as one of our pitchers last year, and the growing pitching staff will allow AC to see time in the infield this year. Her determined and loving attitude makes her a joy to have on the team. Since last season, she has improved in all areas of the game, getting faster, stronger and more fundamentally sound.

2015 Season (Sophomore Year)
“AC” is getting back into softball.  After a few years of playing tennis she has decided to get back on the diamond and we are pleased with the progress we have seen.  She is a hard worker, very diligent in wanting to understand the game as well as improve her skill sets.  She is going to give us some depth in the outfield.  Her swing is one of the most fundamentally sound ones on the team and as her confidence is growing so is her performance on the field.

1.)  When did you start playing softball and why?
I began playing softball as a young child, maybe at age 12. I stopped playing softball for a while, and started playing for Principia College in my sophomore year. I started Principia softball because I was motivated by what I had heard the team was like. I also wanted to find a team that I could love, but I did not know if I would find one. What I needed was a PE credit to graduate, but I stayed in softball passed my 1 year requirement (I am in my third year) because I found that this was my right place. “Joy is the consciousness of the Father’s approval” (EAP). In softball, I found lasting joy as well as a better relationship with God. I am so grateful to be a part of this team today.

2.)  What do you love most about playing softball?
I love being challenged in a way that brings me closer to God.
I love getting to really get to know my teammates. We get to see each other at our best and at our worst, and love each other no matter what.  

3.)  What's your favorite......

Movie? I love Disney movies (Zootopia), and movies that make you think (Minority Report).
TV Show?  Code Geass (it’s a Japanese anime)
Food?  Pears!
Restaurant?  The company/friends that I am with can make any restaurant the best.
Hobbies? I like studying a country and then going there (now I’m studying Japan)
Watching anime, long distance running, tennis, writing meaningful letters, board games, card games, and baking
Pro Athlete?  Adrián Beltré (plays for the Texas Rangers)
Dream Job? Philosophical coffee shop owner where I bake and have good conversations all day.
