2019 Season (Senior Year)
This is Genie’s senior year and how far she has come!  As a freshman she took up the sport of softball for the first time and her she is, in her senior year as a starter!  Genie is versatile and can play the outfield and in the infield. 

Don’t let her quiet demeanor fool you as she ‘all in’ every day and the quietness goes out the window on game days.  Her reputation with her teammates is as the hardest worker on the team.  Her teammates trust her and when she speaks, they listen!

2018 Season (Junior Year)
This is Genie’s third season with the team. She has dedicated herself to the team by putting in extra hours during the off-season and refining her defensive and offensive skills. She exemplifies what it means to be a team player. Even though she has line-drive power, she is happy to lay down a bunt for her teammates. In the outfield, she can track the ball off the bat and has the speed to make game-changing catches. Look forward to seeing Genie take command and protect her zone in the outfield.

2017 Season (Sophomore Year)
This is Genie’s second season with the team. She is the team’s prized vocal motivator. No matter where you are on the field, you can be sure to hear Genie rooting for you. She has also developed a good swing at the plate and is looking to drive the ball hard this season. On and off the field, we can always count on Genie to give 110%.

2016 Season (Freshman Year)
This is Genie’s first experience with softball and organized athletics. We are grateful for Genie’s courage, in participating in intercollegiate athletics, and we look forward to seeing how Genie contributes to the success of the Panther’s this spring. 

Fun Facts:

1.  When did you start playing softball and why?
I started playing Softball three years ago, because it was a sport I hadn’t played, so I thought I’d try it and learn something new for a change.

2.  What do you love most about playing softball?
What I love about softball is the bond you create with your team as the season progresses and you get to know each other better. I also love that anything can happen regardless of who your opponent is which makes it such a challenging and mental game that pushes you to test and overcome your limits.
