2020 Season (Freshman Year)
Gracie, our second freshman, was the starting pitcher on the last three softball teams at the Principia Upper School and she will step right in to that role with us.  We won’t just be looking for Gracie to help us on the mound as she is a very capable player who can fill in at just about every position on the field when she isn’t pitching.  Another bonus with Gracie is her abilities at the plate.  She bats from the left side and is working to develop her skills in being a slap hitter as well as one who can swing away.

1. When did you start playing softball and why? 
I first started by playing baseball on an all-boys t-ball team in kindergarten and didn't start softball until the second grade. I began playing softball because my dad wanted me to try it and I stuck with it.

2.) What do you love most about softball?
I love how quick the game of softball is and that something is always happening.
