2013 Season (Senior Year)
Mari enters into her senior year after improving her game in all aspects last year.  Mari will continue to lock down third base and prove to be a tough hitter making the pitcher work for every pitch.  Look for Mari to constantly supportive of her teammates as she looks to leave a positive mark on her time at Principia. 

2012 Season (Junior Year)
Mari has been working on some adjustments to her swing and things are falling into place.  Look to her to provide some key hits for us this season.  Marianna will patrol third base for us this year and as always will be a positive influence by her hard work and selfless attitude. 

2011 Season (Sophomore Year)
I look forward to this season because there is a lot of new people on our team that are going to help us a lot. As a team, we have been working out on a softball-specific 5-month workout plan. We have only been practicing a little over two weeks, but I am so excited to see more progress and to get outside on our beautiful field and play some ball! I am sure that the teams who played us last year are going to be so surprised because this year, we are on a whole different level. I expect from myself to be a better player and to work harder. I expect that our team will play hard and go far.

2010 Season (Freshman Year)
I played first base and third base on the 2010 team. The season did not have a great win record, but we sure did progress every game. I loved getting to start the softball program again at the college.


WHY I LOVE PLAYING THIS GAME!
It forces me to focus and gives me something to look forward to everyday. It pushes me beyond my comfort zone. It rewards my efforts. It gives me a group of people who I can build such a strong relationship with that I can rely on outside of softball for their friendship.

1.)  When did you start playing softball and why?
    I started playing in 4th grade because I wanted to try a new sport and I liked watching baseball

        I love the team aspect of softball the most!
