Biography

Freshman Year (2020-21) 
A second freshman making an important contribution as a roster player, Rafter joins the team from California. He brings a sunny disposition along with him, but it's not just his smile and friendly self that counts. He also has a solid game that will help the Panthers in singles and doubles. Rafter worked under the tutelage of Angel Lopez at his tennis academy in San Diego, so he has a good foundation to build on for his college career.

Fun Facts:
1.)  When did you start playing tennis and why?
I started playing tennis very young, I'd say 5 or 6. My parents introduced me to it after a dominating career in t-ball and I've been playing tennis ever since!

2.)  What do you love most about tennis?
I really like chasing down balls. It's fun to feel the intensity of good defense on a tennis court.
