Lindsey Huffman is an incoming freshman who is very excited to begin her sports career at Principia College with Cross Country. She is from Laguna Beach, California, although she has been living in St. Louis and Buena Vista for the past two years. In her free time, Lindsey loves to spend time in nature at the beach or mountains, study metaphysics, and spend time with her family and friends. Lindsey can’t wait to meet new people, get involved, and take great classes at Principia College.
 
1.)  When did you start running cross country and why? 
I started running cross country my senior year at Principia Upper School because Blair Lindsay and Bill Simon encouraged me to try it out. I really enjoyed running track the year before, and although I was also playing volleyball fall of my senior year, I still got to run in a few cross country meets. Those meets went well, and I really loved the supportive and loving atmosphere of the team, so I decided to continue running in college.
 
2.)  What do you love most about running cross country? 
I really love the team atmosphere and how you get to be outside in nature. While running distance, I also love how much opportunity you have to think and pray as you run.
 
3.)  What's your favorite......

Food? Fruit!!! – any fruit really! 

Hobbies? Reading Biblical and CS books, peaking mountains, skiing, basically anything outdoors

Dream Job? Something within the Christian Science community
