Freshman Year (2016)
Paige DeBoer is a freshman who is super excited about running Cross Country for the first time here at Principia College. Paige did track for two years in High School, competing in the 800m and 1500m, but this will be her first time competing in REAL long distance races.  She is originally from Medford, Oregon, which is also home to her seven horses, parents, two younger sisters, and amazing golden retriever. Paige loves animals and is looking at a possible major in biology but hasn’t decided on anything for sure yet, but she is very excited about being here and trying new things! 

1.) When did you start running Cross Country and why? 
I started running Cross Country this year because I love running and Brie was very convincing. 
 
2.) What do you love most about running Cross Country? 

I love the challenge and the support of this super awesome team, especially when you feel like you might fall over at the end of a race.
