2020 Season (Sophomore Year)
Delaney was the only freshman on last year’s team and she left her mark by earning All-Conference honors.  Delaney was our rock in center field, covering a lot of territory to catch fly balls and making great throws to the infield with her strong arm.  On offense she was our leadoff hitter and we certainly expect to see her challenge defenses with her consistent contact and excellent eye at the plate.  Her knowledge of the game is an asset both defensively and offensively for the team and we will be relying on that again.

Fun Facts:

1.  When did you start playing softball and why?
I started playing softball when I was 6 because my mom signed me up after I was the only girl on my tee-ball team. 
 
2.  What do you love most about playing softball?
I love that softball is a game of failures because it has thought me to be okay with failure and to learn from every mistake I make on and off the field.
