Biography

2020-2021 Season
Elizabeth is a fourth year swimmer from Virginia Beach. She enjoys swimming free and back the most. Her favorite part about being on the team is being able to do something she loves with people she loves. She is sad that it is her last year, but is hopeful for the future. In her free time, she is taking pictures, working as a Graphic Designer at the college, or in one of the fifteen meetings she has that day.

2019-2020 Season
Elizabeth is a junior from Virginia. It is her third year on the team and she is excited to swim in free and back events this year. She is most excited about getting to know the team and getting better times.

2018-19 Season
Elizabeth Hull has been swimming on the team for two years. She has been working on freestyle and backstroke! This year she hopes to improve on both! This is her second-year swimming competitively. When not swimming, you will most likely find her in the Science Center working on computer science or computer hardware, taking pictures of the sunset on the bluffs, or in the Dining Hall working to become a manager next semester! Elizabeth is super excited for this swim season to get to know the team and improve on swimming!

2017-18 Season
Elizabeth Hull is a freshman from Virginia Beach, VA planning to major in Computer Science. Prior to coming to Principia College, she had never swum competitively before. One of the many things she loves about Principia is how much the coaches and professors encourage students to jump out of their comfort zone.  Her focus for this season will be freestyle and backstroke events. She really loves being a part of the team and is eager to improve on technique and times.

1) When did you start swimming or diving and why?
I started swimming because I enjoyed doing it in my own free time at home. Last year is when I started swimming competitively for the first time.

2) What do you love most about swimming or diving?
I love swimming because it allows me to mentally focus on the little things, challenge me physically, and help me grow spiritually. I love how refreshed I feel after a hard workout and how swimming allows me to relax after a hard day.
