2020-2021 Season
Sanaya is a junior from Boston, MA and is majoring in Math and Economics. She's been swimming since she was 12 on club teams in both Boston and Dhahran, Saudi Arabia and is so excited to be a part of the team for her third year at Principia. As captain this year, she hopes to help continue to build the family this team is so well known for and spend time with her teammates both in and out of the pool. She will continue her training as a distance swimmer, with particular focus on the 1,650 (mile) and 500 events.

2019-2020 Season
Sanaya is a sophomore from Boston, MA and is majoring in Math and Economics. She's been swimming for eight years on a club team in both Boston and Dhahran, Saudi Arabia and is so excited to be a part of the team for her second year at Principia. Sanaya is looking forward to focusing on the distance free events, particularly the 500 and 200 and getting to swim with all the new members we have this year.

2018-19 Season
Sanaya Baldauf is a freshman at the college and is currently an Engineering major. She has been swimming for seven years and can’t wait for a new season so she can work on new goals, get faster, and be a part of the team.

1) When did you start swimming or diving and why?
I’ve always loved being in the water and swimming, but only started competing and being on a team at the beginning of my sixth-grade year.

2) What do you love most about swimming or diving?
I love the feeling of the world just melting away and being able to focus all my energy into one thing.  The best feeling is finishing a set or swim that you really pushed yourself on and feeling stronger because of it.
