Freshman Year (2014)
AC is an all-court player with experience on hard courts and clay. The summer prior to her senior year she played on her club team that travelled to Europe, playing a few challenge matches on Italian red-clay. In high school AC played on the mixed doubles team her senior year.  AC looks forward to bonding with her teammates and improving as an individual player and a team player. As a Principia College tennis athlete she will compete in both singles and doubles. This season she will work to strengthen her serve and volley game and continue to develop her forehand weapon. AC sees tennis as an opportunity to develop her relationship with God and to strive to find answers about her identity.

When did you start playing this sport and why?
I started playing tennis is sixth grade because I could walk to the tennis courts.  You can literally hit a ball from the courts into my backyard. 

What do you love most about playing this sport?
I love to play tennis because I cannot explain why I love it.  I still play in order to figure out why I love tennis so much.  I have to solve the mystery of my mind.

Hobbies: Water skiing, wakeboarding, violin playing, homework doing, movie watching (especially Disney movies), volleyball playing and dessert making
