Biography
Junior Year (2019)
Brittany is returning to the tennis team after a year off. She was on Principia’s mediation team which was a top national and international competitor. Brittany is looking forward to playing tennis again and to help lead us in conference play. She will play both singles and doubles again this year. She has a powerful game and looks to dominate her opponent with her forcing serve and ground strokes.
Freshman Year (2017)
Brittany joins after a successful high school career where she moved up from JV to one of the top singles positions. We are thrilled with her decision to play on the tennis team as well as being a competitor on Principia College’s mediation. Brittany has strong groundstrokes, as well as great length and fearlessness at the net. She is a dominating presence on the doubles court and putting pressure on her opponents. This year, we will work on strengthening Brittany’s strategic understanding of the sport.
Fun Facts
1.) When did you start playing tennis and why?
I started playing when I was three years old. My Dad loves tennis and wanted someone to play with one day so I learned in the hallway of our condo. Also, I loved spiderman at age three so I made sure to ask for a spiderman racket cover.
2.) What do you love most about playing tennis?
I love the opportunity to push myself individually while still having the team atmosphere.
