Junior Year (2012)
Haillie will play an important role on this year’s tennis team. She will have a fixed place in both the singles and doubles line-up.  Haillie has a great court sense and instinctively knows how to move the ball around the court to disrupt her opponent’s game. She enjoys tennis because of the mental and physical challenges it presents.  Haillie is improving her already deadly volley and is working to become more offensive in her game.

Sophomore Year (2011)
Haillie is a sophomore transfer student from SMU. She has not played tennis in a couple of years but has a strong competitive tennis background.  She played for her high school tennis team all three years.  Haillie has a great all-court game and likes to play at the net.  Haillie is excited  about her transfer to Principia College where she will develop her skills and enrich the team with  her enthusiasm and joy. 


1.)  When did you start playing tennis and why?
        I started playing when I was in middle school because I did a biography project on Maria Sharapova and I thought she was so cool!

2.)  What do you love most about playing tennis?
        I love tennis because of the pride that comes from giving your all on the court, and win or lose, you had fun doing it.
