Sophomore Year (2015)
Meg will be on an abroad to India for most of the season but may return for the last week of matches. We will miss her inspiring play, her competitive fire, her great insight to the game, and her team spirit. Her freshman year Meg was not able to play at full strength and could only lend her beautiful game to #3 doubles where she was undefeated in conference play and earned first team third doubles honors.  She played in the fall season and was almost back up to full strength.  Meg has been working on improving her balance, quickness and consistency.  We hope she will be able to contribute to this season even though she is traveling. 


Freshman Year (2014)
Meg played #1 on the Principia Upper school tennis team as a junior and senior and won the district championship her senior year.  She earned a place in the Missouri state championships where she finished fourth. This year Meg will bring her strong aggressive baseline game to Principia College where she will play both singles and doubles. Meg has a strong work ethic and loves learning about the game of tennis.  She expresses humility, flexibility, and selflessness and plays with love, determination, and wholeheartedness.  She is working to improve her serve and volley to apply pressure to her opponents and bring out the best in her opponent and herself.

When did you start playing this sport and why?
I started playing tennis around age four. My whole family plays and I have always enjoyed it!

What do you love most about playing this sport?
One thing I love is that there is no clock. Even if it's match point for your opponent, you can turn the whole match around and win! You just have to believe you can do it and play one point at a time.
