Ava Lesko is a junior who is excited to run her third season of track at Principia. Ava ran cross country for Principia the past three seasons as well and she is excited to give to the track team and actively practice Christian Science this season. When not at Principia, Ava resides in Pennsylvania with her mother, father, and younger sister. She is a chemistry major and sustainability minor and loves learning about all things science, debating politics, and spending time with family and friends. Ava is also a reader for CSO, a Resident Assistant, a member of PAC board, and a chemistry TA. In her spare time, you can find Ava trying new muffin recipes, traveling, finding the perfect hammock spot, skiing, or studying metaphysics.


1.  When did you start track & field and why? 
I started running track freshmen year after my first season of cross country and I loved the team so much I didn’t want to stop running!
 

2.  What do you love most about track & field? 
I love the grittiness of workouts and the grace that is developed through practicing Christian Science…and of course I love our joyful team.
