Freshman (2018)
Emme Schaefer is going into her freshman year this fall and is excited to continue her athletic career on the Principia Cross Country team. With a passion for creative writing, she plans on majoring in either English or Mass Communications. In her free time, she enjoys listening to music, going to the beach and spending time with her friends, family, and 2 cats. Emme is eagerly anticipating the start of cross country season, and can't wait to witness all the growth and progress that this season has to offer. 

1.)  When did you start running cross country and why? 
I started running cross country my freshmen year because I had a friend on the team who encouraged me to join, and I loved it so much that I stayed for the rest of high school.  
 

2.)? What do you love most about running cross country? 
I love the team dynamic and how you can track your progress, in addition to the feeling of expressing freedom and dominion.
