Valentina Carvajal is a junior at Principia college, and is pursuing a degree in Business. She was born in Colombia and transferred to Principia last year in order to finish her studies. She works for the spanish department as an assistant teacher, and she loves to learn new languages and cultures.

What do you love about the Track and Field team?
I love that we support each other’s every time, we encourage everyone to always give 110 %, but most important we always have fun.

What do you want to accomplish as an athlete?
As an athletic, I want to develop a discipline that allows me to accomplish my goals and be better every day.

How do you balance athletics with academics?
I set clear my priorities and try to manage my time as effective as possible.
