Principia College's Murilla King, a junior from Novato, Calif., has been named the Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for the week of September 17-23.

King, a goalkeeper, posted a shutout against Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology last week. She had four saves as Principia won 2-0.

"Murilla was aggressive off the line and showed composure with the ball at her feet when providing support for her defenders on a pass back," commented Princpia head coach Jess Semnacher.
