Tara Edwards captures second SLIAC player of the week

Principia College's Tara Edwards, a junior from Lake Forest, Calif. (El Toro), has been named the Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week for the week of September 27-October 3.

Edwards, a setter, recorded 81 set assists, 11 kills, 7 service aces and 22 digs in two matches played last week. She had 40 set assists, 12 digs, five kills and four service aces in a 3-2 victory versus Westminster College (Mo.). She posted 41 set assists, 10 digs, six kills and three service aces in a 3-1 non-conference win against St. Louis College of Pharmacy.
